Contrary to all previous Lake Powell Tours or Workshops we offered over the last 6 years we will this time I have a chef on board. Norman, the cook and boss in the kitchen, will be offering us full breakfasts and gourmet dinners. He will also provide us with tea in the afternoon before we set out for the sunset spot for the day.

Please let us know beforehand if you have any specific food intolerance or food allergy. The chef will work around any restrictions to avoid any momentary unhappiness or even worse, a major allergic reaction.

Lunch will not be provided. You may, if you wish, prepare your own lunches in the fully equipped kitchen. Please bring your own snacks and drinks.

If you plan to bring frozen food or drink that need to be kept cold you might consider bringing your own ice chest to ensure that all your stuff is kept at the right temperature. There are also two very large ice chest on board that can be used. Ice can be bought at the marina.

The refrigerator on the houseboat is small and will be used by the chef.

It is imperative that you bring enough drinking water with you. Being a whole day on the deck, exposed to the sun and breeze will need a lot of fluid intake.

Fresh food (vegetables and fruits) can be bought at Safeway in Page. The store is open daily from 5:00 am – 11:00 pm. Buying at Safeway has to be done prior to getting on board as once we take off from the marina we will be out there in the wilderness until 10/24.
